Balancing religious freedom with protecting individual civil rights. Reproductive rights. LGBTQ rights. Racial justice. Public education. Gun violence prevention. All of these and many more are the issues on which Interfaith Alliance of Iowa & Action Fund works every day.
In our nation, religion is often used to divide and to interfere with the rights of other people. The FAITH & DEMOCRACY project of Interfaith Alliance of Iowa helps voters to dive into the important issues around religious freedom and how the faith and beliefs of those running for public office would inform their policy decisions, if elected.
